You know, I really think I'm going somewhere with this. My art has just started and already I can see improvements. I will post some later. I have been putting my concentration mainly on figure drawing and perspective drawing.

One thing that's been bugging me, is that I can see other artists, artists I've known almost half a decade around here on Deviant Art. Their artwork however, hasn't improved in the slightest bit. I'm not going call anyone out on this but it's just awful. They draw nothing but Anime, or, they draw nothing but Sonic the Hedgehog knock-offs or, they draw pointless abstract artwork or make very bad moving icons. I would expect some level of improvement in four years but they continue to draw the same now as they did in 2003 it's just weird. When I see real criticism being given to the artist, they complain they are being hated on. Total disregard for real constructive criticism seems to be the reason why they never improve. They are merely unwilling to go beyond what they already have. I used to be like this and now I see that's not the way to go. A bloated ego and minimal effort of learning new things will get me nowhere. I hope I never become like them. I want to grow and live my dream of being a successful artist, even if it's only a side-project.
